Senior Dev Ops Engineer

We are currently seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer who will focus on developing solutions while working closely with development, IT operation resources, and our off-site team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the functioning of development, enhancements, debugging, support, maintenance, and QA of software applications being developed by the digital team for business units or supporting functions. Below are the duties and responsibilities of the role:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Improve the accessibility of security through automation, continuous integration pipelines, and other means.

• Design a secure application-release automation process to make security an integral part of the CI/CD pipelines.

• Work closely with Product Security, Engineering, Operations, and Corporate Security to define security strategy and execute on it.

• Implement automation to enable developers to easily consume security services.

• Validate adherence to AWS and Azure governance standards for policy definitions, role-based access controls, ARM Templates, resource groups, and Azure/AWS Blueprints.

• Experience with application hosting with new technologies such as containerization with Docker & Kubernetes (AKS).

• Integration of various test automation frameworks and tools in the CI/CD pipelines.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Extensive experience in Systems Administration (Linux and/or Windows).

• Extensive experience in scripting using Shell/Bash.

• Experience with deployment and management of applications/migrations to AWS with Azure DevOps.

• 5+ years of experience at least in one of public cloud providers such as AWS or Azure.

• 4+ years of experience with Linux operating system as DevOps engineer.

• Knowledgeable with Git and Azure DevOps services on the cloud.

• Preferably have experience working with monitoring and logging solutions for web applications using Cloud watch, ELK Stack, Nagios, Prometheus, and/or similar skills.

• Fluent spoken English.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps.

• Integrations.

• Automation.

• Education: a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.

• Certifications: DevOps engineer, Programming language is a plus, AWS Cloud Architecture associate is a plus.
