Floating Crane Operator

Job Description/ Role

· Must know how to operate the crane in order to meet company rules, regulations, policies and procedures.

· Sound knowledge of all ties for lifting and movement of items up to 150/250 ton capacity.

· Must possess safe work habits and be committed to achieving zero crane accidents.

· Responsible for the implementation of all required maintenance and service requirements.

· Knowledge of basic inspection of lifting equipment’s cranes and Familiar with rigger communication methods.

· Should be able to understand/read Lifting Plans

· Should be highly Safety conscious and diligent in his skill as Crane Operator

· Understands and apply plant safety standards and maintenance procedure while performing the work.

· Predict trouble of mobile equipment and advise supervisor equipment failures.

· To carry out basic maintenance duties, including pre and post start checks as specified by your employer and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions

المهارات
· should possess valid Certification for Crane Operation from TUV or other (approved)

· Minimum of 4 years related experience in dredging projects.

· Good verbal and written communication skills.

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Heavy Equipment driving license from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

· Prefer if have C.O.C, valid seaman book, and training certificates in any crane operator course.

· Capable of operating new and old types, models of floating cranes.

· Having basic math skills and good judgment can help to succeed in lifting, as can knowing how to identify and solve problems.
