Job Role: This role is an integral part of our startup company. The role requires strong experience of market research techniques and the ability to handle all stages of the project life cycle, from proposal to presentation. You will be expected to attend client meetings and represent the company in public (e.g. within conferences and client presentations) and you will be given support but freedom to develop the primary research business stream to meet clients’ needs with innovative and profitable research proposals.

Scope: This role will focus on qualitative and quantitative research and is key to achieving our growth whilst upholding our company values. There is a need for innovation in the field as more companies are understanding the importance market research and data analysis in Saudi Arabia. We would like to run several conferences a year, both in Saudi Arabia and internationally. We also would like the individual to build on this reputation, sharing their expertise through case study examples. Individual should be able to participate in workshops set by our clients to further develop their research department. Our company’s main goal is to provide innovative research solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and executing sales/business development activity to achieve targets

• Handle all stages of marketing research (Qual/Quant) project.

• Develop proposals to clients

• Participate in client meetings.

• Designing “research products” that can be marketed to target clients

• Building relationships with new and existing client base (clients include government and semi government agencies) to encourage repeat purchase and secure annual contracts

• Coaching and developing junior staff to acquire/improve their primary skills

• Contributing to the management of company-wide initiatives; member of the senior research team and participate in company training days, CSR days and awaydays

• Contributing to thought leadership, speaking at conferences and seminars, writing web/blog content about relevant insight issues and participating in workshops

• Leading and project managing marketing research commissions

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Min 5 years professional market research experience including project management, research design, execution and reporting

• Strong technical research skills – qualitative or quantitative (a mix is preferred)

• Positive commercial attitude

• Experienced presenter, able to create winning proposals, a good networker and written/verbal communicator

• Able to coach, mentor and manage junior staff

• High quality standards in both setting research methods and delivering research results whether written reports or presentations

• Degree/postgraduate qualified preferably in Research and Statistics
