The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will take technical lead on specific projects as identified by the Engineering manager. Additionally, will assist the Engineering Manager in coaching other Mechanical Engineers to develop Design skills and work to the departmental processes

Lead Mech. Design Engineer Responsibilities: 

1.  Analyzing problems and coming up with designs to solve them.

2.  Networking and collaborating with other engineers and professionals.

3.  Working within the budget to deliver safe and efficient products on time.

4.  Allocating resources and time effectively.

5.  Developing design prototypes.

6.  Liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

7.  Attending meetings and providing input and updates.

8.  Analyzing data to write reports.

9.  Communicating with staff, directors, and client

Lead Mech. Design Engineer Requirements:

1.  BSc in Mechanical engineering

2.  Must have a thorough knowledge of best engineering practices, solid industry codes and standards background (ASME, API, ASTM, ISO) and use of engineering software

Extensive experience working on engineering projects, preferable in GCC Countries
4.  Experience in the support of both small- and large-scale projects.

5.  Familiar with International Engineering Codes and Standards.

6.  Excellent interpersonal skills and self-confidence

Superb creativity, vision, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to make decisions in high-stress situations
Great written and verbal communication skills.
10.  Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).

Lead Design Engineer Experience

1.  10 years of related experience, Minimum of 7 years as team leader in the water and wastewater industry working in the engineering design and construction phase of projects
