As an IT Unit Lead, your responsibility is to oversee all IT functions in the organization and to lead the IT Unit team to establish and uphold a robust and secure IT infrastructure that is backed with the IT operational services required to maintain it. This serves the whole organization as per certifiable standards. while the flow of information across the infrastructure facilitates those operations, preventing any potential gaps or leaks, as well as managing the company’s IT requirements, mainly revolving around maintaining the company’s hardware and software needs, ensuring market-leading practices. The role requires possessing strong analytical capabilities and risk-averse skills, and through an agile environment, the ability to take initiative is essential.
Job ResponsibilitiesMaintain a high level of quality in the organization’s technology solutions and software
Manage, track, maintain and administer the company’s hardware and software assets
Analyze the company’s IT needs, and identify vulnerabilities, potential threats, problems, and methods to boost productivity and efficiency
Develop and maintain a team of capable and proficient professionals in the IT Unit
Assess the IT infrastructure and operations organization
Manage and allocate the company’s software and licenses and user accesses. Including systems such as ERP, Gsuite, Microsoft, Alteryx, Tableau, etc
Lead ERP implementation initiatives and handle liaison between the company and implementation partners
Establish standardized processes and key operational metrics for the IT unit
Manage the performance of the IT Unit Operations.
Monitor and manage programs including communications and IT support
Upgrade and maintain the network and infrastructure systems in a timely manner
Manage, maintain and enhance the company’s cybersecurity practices and tools adopted
Management and continual improvement of Cloud Operations, DevOps, and On-prem IT infrastructure and operations
Other tasks and duties that may be required
المهارات
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and/or Computer Science or any related field.
Preferred Skillset
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and G-Suite.
Networking.
Software Development.
Exposure to ERP systems (such as Zoho).
Computer programming and coding.
