Engineering Manager

On behalf of a global retailer, we are seeking an Engineering Manager

Based out of their Riyadh headquarters, and reporting to the Director, of Construction, you will oversee construction projects from conception to design completion and solve various problems.

Research and review in-depth the design drawings. 
Obtain the needed permits and licenses on the right team to ensure meeting the deadlines and for smooth execution of the projects.
Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
Provide clear and concise instructions to engineering consultant teams and coordinate with all parties.
Select and order tools, materials, and equipment and track inventory.
Prepare internal and external reports which are reflected the status of the project.
Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
Negotiate terms of agreements, and draft contracts.
Coordinate work with other managers and staff.
Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
المهارات
BS degree in Architecture, Engineering or related field.
Proven minimum of 10 years of working experience in Construction Management/ Consultant Firm / or Technical Office.
Advanced knowledge of the Construction Management processes, means and methods.
Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.
Understanding of all facets of the construction process.
Familiarity with construction management software packages.
Ability to plan and see the “bigger picture”.
Competent in conflict and crisis management.
Leadership and human resources management skills.
Excellent time and project management skills.
Proven work experience as an Engineering Manager or similar role
Analytical skills for evaluating information carefully and solving complex problems.
Communication skills for overseeing staff and working with other management personnel.
Detail-oriented with the ability to catch minor errors which can result in major problems.
Organizational skills to keep track of various budgets, employees, and schedules simultaneously.
Relevant training and/or certifications as an Engineering Manager.
